The Plan includes immediate measures to help restart the local economy after the impact of COVID-19 together with proposals to secure its long-term, sustainable growth.
Our Five Pillars for Recovery and Sustainable Growth
The Plan has five interconnected pillars of activities -
- 1. Supporting COVID-19 Recovery
Providing district-wide business support and promoting a clear vision for the district’s long-term future.
- 2. Harnessing the Power of Partnership
Building strong partnerships with Westminster City Council, RB Kensington and Chelsea, Transport for London, the police, the Mayor and local communities to deliver real changes to improve the district.
- 3. Leveraging the benefits of our International Centre designation
Promoting the importance of the International Centre to the economies, jobs provision and global appeal of London and the wider UK.
- 4. Driving transformational change
Working with partners to deliver improvements to the public realm, traffic management and street services, making the district a more pleasant and welcoming place for everyone.
- 5. Providing business support and insight
Creating a range of services to help business planning and growth, including regular policy and operational updates and insights into business performance in the district and throughout wider central London.
